Today you must train. From 2027 you must also be able to show it.
Wwft art. 35 requires periodic training for your staff and for the people running the firm day to day. The act prescribes no form. From 10 July 2027 the AMLR also requires the training to be documented.
23 videos, about 18 minutes in total. Free, no account, and yours to use as you like.
The videos are in Dutch. The Wwft is Dutch law and its terms of art are the ones the supervisor uses, so translating them would teach a vocabulary that appears in no inspection.
Does the Wwft apply to your firm?
Start here. Who the act catches, why the duty sits with you, and where the obligations actually begin: with your own risk assessment, not with your first client.
Client due diligence, properly and completely
The first of the two outcomes art. 35 names in so many words. What verification really asks, how deep the research must go, and what a UBO or a PEP changes.
Recognising an unusual transaction
The second outcome from art. 35. When you must report, when you may refuse a client, and what the supervisor does when it is not in order.
Recording, retention and training
What belongs in the file, how long it stays there, and why deleting it is as much a duty as keeping it.
What changes on 10 July 2027
The Wwft is replaced by the European AMLR. Three things are already fixed in the text, so you can act on them now.
For your profession
The same act, a different supervisor and a different practice. Pick your profession for the longer briefing.
