Cookie Statement

Most websites open with a question you never asked for. We don't. One cookie keeps you logged in, and nothing else of ours sits on your device.
No cookie banner, because there is nothing to ask
Consent is needed the moment a site puts something on your device that does not strictly need to be there. All we put there is your login session, and you asked for that when you logged in. A banner with only one possible answer is not a choice, so we do not ask the question. (The rule is art. 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet.)
What is on your device
- A login session on app.cloudpliant.com, so you stay logged in. Gone when you log out, and otherwise a week after your last visit. In your browser it is called __Secure-better-auth.session_token, and JavaScript cannot read it.
- On cloudpliant.com: nothing. No cookie, no pixel, no fingerprint.
- Inside the app, your browser remembers a few small preferences, such as whether you have dismissed a tip.
We count visits, we do not follow people
We keep track of which pages get read and which buttons get clicked, because otherwise we are writing this site blind. That runs on our own servers in the EU, with no cookie, no profile, and nothing going to an ad network. We can see that a page was read forty times. We cannot see that it was you.
The rest works the same way
This page is short because the choices behind it were kept small. The same reasoning covers your clients' files: everything inside the EU, nothing left with a party that has no business holding it.
What you can do
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The only consequence here is that you cannot stay logged in. Questions about this page go to privacy@cloudpliant.com.
