About Cloudpliant

You are considering putting your client files, and therefore your evidence toward the supervisor, with a company you do not know. This is what you can check about us before you do.

Why this exists

A four-person bookkeeping firm carries the same Wwft duty as a bank with a compliance department. The same screening, the same risk assessment, the same retention period, the same supervisor who may come knocking. Just without the apparatus to carry it out.

The software that existed was built and priced for the larger end of that market. We started at the other end: that is why there is a free account where no Dutch Wwft vendor offers one, and why the prices are simply on the site instead of behind a quote.

Starting at the smallest firm does not mean it stops there. Every plan carries unlimited users, the file counts run up to unlimited, and the same screening, classification and monitoring run whether you have ten clients or a thousand.

You have to be able to check us

A risk level you cannot explain is worth nothing in a review. So every classification comes out of a rule matrix published on this site rather than a language model: the same client with the same data gives the same outcome, today and in two years.

Which lists and registers we consult is written out too, per source, with the date it was last updated. And a check that could not run never comes out as “clear”: it is reported as incomplete.

How classification works

Where your data lives

Client data sits on servers in Falkenstein, Germany. What else is in the chain and where it sits, we write out per vendor rather than saying one reassuring sentence about it.

Every plan carries a data processing agreement, the free account included.

Security and vendors

What goes in comes back out

Every report exports as PDF and as JSON, whenever you want and without asking. The API hands you all of them at once. Your files are never in a format only we can read.

That is not a nicety. Your retention duty runs for five years after a client relationship ends, so you have to be able to reach them in five years. And the client data you started with is sitting in your own accounting package.

Compact on purpose

It holds exactly what is needed. No layers slowing an answer down, no queue, and nobody between you and whoever builds it. Ask something and the answer comes from someone who knows the system.

We use modern tooling to keep the work small that a machine should be doing. That is why a reported fault is fixed this week rather than scheduled for next quarter, and why the time is left for the work that does need a person.

The same choice runs through the product: one rule matrix you can replay instead of a black box, prices on the site instead of on request, and a free account in which you can check for yourself whether it holds up.
