How Cloudpliant works

A client file runs through five steps, and the software runs along with it. Below is what happens at each one, with a short video beside it.

12 videos, about 10 minutes in total. You need not watch any of them: it is all written out too.

Rather see it in one go? An accountant takes on a new client, from first check to accepted file.

  1. Identify

You record who the client is and check that it holds up. The file says what is still missing, and an uploaded document only counts once you have looked at it and accepted it.

  2. Screen

One query across the registers: sanctions lists, PEP, watchlists, insolvency and curatele. Every outcome names its source and the list version it was screened against, including when nothing was found.

  3. Assess

The risk classification is a transparent matrix, not a model: you see which factor carried which weight. Where a judgement is needed, as with adverse media, a person makes it and the system records who.

  4. Decide

Accept or refuse, with the ground recorded. The decision freezes a report you can share with an auditor or with the client, and a refusal stays in the file with its reason.

  5. Monitor

After that the system watches: the lists are re-run whenever they change, and you hear about it when something moves on a client you had already accepted.

What it does not do

No model decides anything here. The risk classification is a rule matrix you can recalculate, because a supervisor has to be able to reproduce every classification and a probabilistic answer cannot be reproduced.

Where the line sits

And it does not take over your judgement. We screen, classify and record; accepting, refusing and reporting stay with you.
